Many who know the song written in England may not know that the twelve days begin on Christmas and end January 5, twelfth night, the night before Epiphany, the Feast of the Three Kings. January 6 is more important in Latin American than in the United States.

Pat and her daughter, Libby Martinez, are included in this new book - Libby's publishing debut.
Literacy mural and poem
Susan Guevara, noted illustrator of children's books, asked Pat to write a poem especially for a mural she created. The poem complements the mural's message about literacy and peace. Read the poem here.
